🗓 Sunday, March 23rd
⏰ 1:00 – 3:00 PM
📍 Sointula Museum
We’re planning a summer of art and creativity! Artists are invited to join us for a brainstorming session on Sunday, March 23, at 1 PM at the museum to discuss creative ideas for this summer’s pocket gallery exhibits. Refreshments will be served.
The Sointula Museum is hosting four themed exhibits from June to September 2025, and we invite you to participate. Artwork should be for sale, and due to our small display area, size restrictions apply. Please avoid First Nations imagery unless you are Indigenous.
This Year’s Themes:
June – Prehistory: Before Humans
Fossils, geology, exploration—our island before human presence.
July – Past: Human Arrival
The early days of people on Malcolm Island—life, events, and the things we used or valued.
August – Present: Our Now
Modern life on Malcolm Island—work, play, people, and milestones.
September – Future: What Will It Be?
Imagining the future of our island—what will be important, and what will it look like?
