Jon will be reading select short stories from his book, offering insights into his adventures on the troller. Plus, enjoy musical entertainment performed by Jon himself! Refreshments and goodies will be provided and copies of his book will be available for purchase from our gift shop during and after the event.
About Jon Taylor: With roots tracing back to 1917, Jon has deep ties to the Malcolm Island community. Fun fact: His Finnish grandparents initially planned to settle in Sointula before opting for Cuba instead. Since Jon’s arrival on Malcolm Island in 1976, he has embraced the fishboat life, sharing captivating tales from his journeys aboard seiners, gillnetters, and his own troller.
