The Sointula History Plays: Part 1 & 2

Auditions: Four Paid Acting Positions
(Rehearsal Honorarium, Plus Box Office Share)
The Commitment
Rehearsals begin Mid-May, approximately 10 hrs week
Beginning Mid-June, rehearsals increase to 16 hrs week
Tech week, beginning June 27th, will require additional hrs with Dress Rehearsal, and Previews prior to Opening on July 4th.
Performances run every Friday and Saturday in July and August.
What to bring to the audition?
Please prepare a presentation that represents “homesteading”.
This could be a reading of a poem, a movement piece, a dramatic or comic scene from a play or movie, or you could write and perform something original. Whatever form your presentation of “homesteading” takes place, it should be no longer than 2 mins.
You will also be asked to sing “Happy Birthday” acappella.
